Aldi, recently made headlines all over the world with there brand new and delicious Rosé, Côtes de Provence Rosé. This Rosé, only price at $8 beat competitors that were up to 5x’s the price.
The Best Rosé in 2016
At the International Wine Challenge, this pink and sweet Rose turned heads when it was titled the Oscars of The Wine World. This competition was a two week long process involving many reputable wine enthusiasts, where a panel of experts named Exquisite Collection Côtes de Provence Rosé 2016 the best wine under $10 in the Great Value Awards category. This made headway as many other hopeful contenders lost to a bottle of wine that was significantly cheaper.
The panel of experts commented that this particular Rosé had notes of “ripe summer fruit and a crisp bright finish.” This French native wine gives credit for its delicious flavor to Grenache, cinsault, and syrah grapes.
Across the United States
The Aldi stores are of German decent and in Germany is actually the largest wine retailer. Aldi, known for their low cost grocery items and unique stores with bag your own items made headway recently not just by this delicious Rosé, but by also taking home 18 medals during the wine competition.
